Q PSY 499 Thesis Paper Instructions Each student is responsible for the completion of an APA-style, argumentative thesis paper. The paper must be no less than 10 pages (double-spaced, 12-point font) in length (including the title and reference pages), and the paper must include at least 15 references from peer-reviewed journals (use only primary sources). Each student will choose one of the major psychological theories or perspectives covered in the course and submit a paper with a clear thesis statement. Each student will submit a thesis statement no later than the end of Module 2. Students will use peer-reviewed research to provide support for their thesis statements in the papers. Students will also be required to synthesize relevant material to provide compelling support for their thesis statements. You may want to visit Purdue OWL for assistance with formatting your argumentative paper in APA style. You will also prepare and submit an audio-narrated PowerPoint presentation of your thesis paper. This means you will need to record and embed a narrative for each of your slides; i.e., say what you would say if you were presenting in front of a live audience. Your presentation will be worth 100 points and will be graded according to this rubric.
